We are leaving for our trip soon and I have been able to reconfirm three of our four hotels. Our Venice hotel has not responded to two e-mails. I booked online and have e-mail confirmation complete with a confirmation number. This should suffice, but I would sure feel better if I could get a response. We are booked at Ca Favretto San Cassiano; anyone familiar with this hotel or have an idea on how to get a reconfirmation. I guess I could call them. Thanks.

Two things come to mind. Italians in general don't seem to have the same compelling urgency about email as we do. They have also probably been super busy. The hotel appears to be sold out. The America's Cup has been in Venice this last week.

Yes, you could call them. Just remember the time difference so that you do not call them in the middle of their night.

Guida, If you have E-mail confirmation and a reservation number, they might feel that another confirmation isn't necessary. You could try calling them, but I probably wouldn't worry about it. Happy travels!
