Hi, I've been trying to purchase train tickets for my September trip for hours today. I get all the way through to payment and it will not allow me to enter my credit card info anywhere. It gives a red banner that says "any of the data is not confirmed".
I've tried both Firefox and Chrome browsers and both do the same thing. I deleted my history too.
Can anyone help??
The transaction may be blocked by your credit card company. Give them a call and a heads up on what you are trying to do.
Download the Trenitalia app on your phone and make your purchase through the app. I had no trouble with the app when I made multiple purchases last year.
Hi Mary, I just added the app and tried to purchase a ticket. It would allow it, but I need to purchase 2 separate tickets (because I have a 30% discount code and found I need to add it separately to each journey ticket) and don't see where I can add the 2nd ticket on the app. Am I missing something there too?
So, on my laptop I can add 2 separate journeys, but it won't allow me to pay. On my phone, it will allow me to pay, but not to add a 2nd journey.
Am I doomed???

Are you purchasing for two people on the same itinerary?
If so, have you created a separate profile for each person? You should then be able to add each person to the itinerary, and then add the code.

An update--
I just did the Stresa-Florence trip on my phone app. It worked fine.
I lost the 30% discount for the Florence-Rome since the phone app only took 1 trip and I couldn't add the second trip.
I'll just wait to book the Florence-Rome trip when/if I get another discount. The cheapest fare I found on the Florence-Rome route was 19.90 Euros.

I had a really frustrating time trying to book tickets from FCO to Florence using my CartaFreccia. I was using Safari on my desktop iMac and the site kept telling me I had invalid sign-in. When I switched to my iPhone, I made the reservations easily and quickly. Trying to figure out any Italian system can be very confusing.

Yes, it is really frustrating! I tried everything I could think of. I finally booked one trip on my phone and lost the 30% discount on the other trip because I couldn't figure out how to book both trips on my phone at the same time.
Hopefully, all goes well with the trip Stresa-Florence. And, I can find a discount to book the other trip, Florence-Rome.
