trouble getting tickets on trenitalia website

You don't need to register to buy tickets. After you have picked the train and time you wish you will go to a page where you enter in the passenger name. Just under that there is a section called contact buyer-required and the option to register or not (Non Sono registrato ). Just click the not register and continue. It's really easy. I did it last week without any problems.

Just one more important note...once you do figure it out, make sure you check your email inbox and print out the ticket...you must bring that with you, it will have a code for the conductor to check.

Also, if you are booking on a fast train, make sure you get your seat selection if you are traveling with anyone else. If you let the system select the seats, you probably won't be sitting next to each other, most likely across from each other. If you pay attention, you can also select which direction your seat faces...either facing forward as the train travels...or watching the scenery pass away from you.

I see what it is...the non solo part isn't showing up on my computer ? it did the first time but not now? also, when I try to get a ticket the prices change after I have attempted once? any suggestions? thanks, Cheri

Call them by phone, their agents speak English very well. By the way, if the agent walks you through the process, print out the ticket - the purchase PNR code is now a number, you may not get an email ticket.

Do you have the phone number? I can't get through on the phone number I called. I purchased tickets, but no email, and so I have no ticket to print.

I am also having trouble right now with the train tickets. I purchased tickets a couple of weeks ago and no problems because you had the choice of buyer, but it is not coming up today.
