Trouble buying advance tickets to Pompeii

Hello,
Per the Italy guidebook, looking to buy advance tickets on Ticketone.it - I will be there on April 2, 2025. At the site it appears that you can only buy the express (day) tickets for the current month. In this case only up to January 31. There is a calendar - but you can't advance it to the next month. Site glitch or am I missing something?

Assuming that is the official site you are probably just too early for April tix

As well, I don't see any need to purchase in advance. It's a huge site that can handle a LOT of people. I know that they're initiating daily visitor caps (15,000 in the morning and 5.000 in the afternoon) from April 1 - October 31 but I still don't think you need to be concerned at the time of year you're going.

Yes, that’s the official online seller for tickets to Pompeii and Herculaneum. I’d agree that it’s too early to buy tickets for April. OP, try buying them in mid February as they should be available then. Good luck and happy travels!

Curious if you ever found an answer. We are going in April also and STILL don't see tickets for April on Tickone.
I did see somewhere that starting April 1, they are going to require we pick between morning or afternoon tickets so I thought maybe the new process was holding things up, but it's a couple weeks out now.

I did hear back from ticket one. They can only list and sell the tickets made available by the attraction. I don't think any tickets will be made available to them until last few days in March for April. I found a similar situation looking for Acropolis tickets in Athens for April from hhticket.gr, also recommended by the guidebook. If you want to be sure of getting advanced tickets, you have to go to Viator, Get Your Guide or other similar company that essentially marks the tickets up 300%. I guess the attraction sells to them and gets a kickback.

Actually, Viator, Get Your Guide etc are third party resellers
They don’t have the tickets yet either
They are selling you tickets/tours in the hope that they will get them later

I would stick with the official site or buy when you get there
Extremely doubtful that they will sell out

We went on 19 March (two days ago). Rocked up at 9:30 am, stood in line (made daughter stand in line while I used the convenient facilities) and were in with 10 minutes. Maps are in a separate room to the right of the ticket booth (main gate two minutes walk turning right out of the Circumvesuviana train station).

If you are wanting tickets to Vesuvius, buy them ahead as faffing with wifi in the spot where the busses turn around is fraught. Take the EVA bus for €2.80 each way. Buy tickets at the train station. The bus is blue.
