Trouble booking time slot for Accademia in Florence

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone else has run into this. Trying to book for 10/5 at 8:15am, the first time slot. I'm on the official site at B-ticket and it shows me that slot is still available. However, when I try to add the ticket to my cart I get

In the selected time slot not enough adjoining tickets could be found. Please select another time slot or reserve a smaller number of seats.

I am just trying to add 1 ticket. Anyone else seen this? Do you think that means that slot is really sold out? If I add the next time slot at 8:30 it lets me add it to my cart ok.

Edit: I've tried other dates too, for the 8:15 slot, and it does the same thing. Is there a different way I am supposed to book that slot?

Hello. I encountered the same message that you received when selecting the date 10/5. However, the process worked smoothly when selecting either 10/4 or 10/6. Is it possible that the Accademia is not accessible on your preferred day/date! Is it possibly a software or website glitch! I did not see anything that indicated that it is closed on that date.

Hey thanks. I tried all of that week actually, 10/3-10/7 and even if the 8:15 time slot shows it is available, I keep getting that message. 10/4 and 10/6 show sold out for me. I tried earlier dates in September just to test and got the same thing at least for when the 8:15 slot was available. Some of them did indeed say Sold Out, but those wouldn't even let me increase the quantity to try to add it to my cart.

I just fooled with some later dates, like 10/7 and it does let me add that. So I'm wondering if it is indeed sold out at that time on the dates I want, but for some reason it just doesn't display properly that it is sold out. Guess I'll go for the next one at 8:30 then.

I emailed them about this exact error actually. They simply told me it just means it's sold out lol... I guess their website has a bug and cannot correctly display slots that are sold out vs. not. Very annoying, especially because their reply honestly sounded like they have no intention to troubleshoot and fix the issue for visitors' convenience. Oh well.
