Has anyone used the luggage storage at the Tronchetto parking in Venice? Is it attended 24 hrs? Is it secure? While travelling light, I'd like to go into Venice even lighter with just the minimum for our stay.
Please note that I am aware of and considering the many negatives of a car in Venice. I'm considering the options and just looking for luggage storage information. Thanks.

Its a little pricey at 7 euro/day/item, but I have no reason to doubt their reputation or service.
Where will you be going to/coming from (before /after) you travel to Venice?
You may leave your extra luggage at the hotel( free of charge), as long as you plan to return.
For example: My mom & I traveled to Varenna in Lake Como (3 nights) but didn't want to lug around 2 carry-ons,
so we left one at the hotel in Milan, then we stayed there our last night before flying home.
Storage offices ate not usually attended 24 hours, probably not even in most airports, but they will be locked. We have always considered these services to be secure enough for our clothes and souvenirs but would not leave electronics or other valuables there. Some storage offices (for instance at Rome Termini station) ask that your bag itself be locked.
Tronchetto is a bit cheaper, the luggage storage is free for the first day and 2 euro for each day after.
