Triple in Rome for Under $200 in City Center

Check out Hotel Smeraldo - http://www.smeraldoroma.com/ We stayed in a nice triple there a couple of years ago. It's in a great location near Campo de'Fiori.

Depending on how many nights you'll be there, you might want to look into renting an apartment. We've used VRBO.com before and there are other such websites.

If you are going to be in Rome for 3 or more nights I recommend getting an apartment. They are plentiful and a much better arrangement than most hotels.

I concur with the apartment idea if you want to get under 200 and have a triple. If you're staying 3 days or more, you can find a rental in a reasonable area.
