Trip to Siena from cruise port Livorno

The train to Siena takes long enough that it might be worth it to you to pay for a shore excursion style tour with transportation.
I've used this company for their local tours (but not shore tours) https://en.turislucca.com/shore-excursions/
which were good but they do not offer Siena tours but Pisa, Lucca and other options.

Other hill towns - like Volterra - are closer at about an hour driving and may be more accessible with limited time.
Other towns - like Pisa and Lucca - are easier to reach by train at about an hour either on your own or with a tour.

I'm sure there is a whole industry around shore excursions from Livorno but finding a good one might require a new post.
