Trip to Sicily - Driver from CTA to Palermo

We had to do this when the airport was shut down due to Mt Etna. We just took a taxi from airport. They have signs posted at the taxi stand showing the cost to various destinations. I belleve it was about 350€ for four of us. The bus (also in front of the airport) was about 75€ pp. If you actually want to go to the airport at Palermo, make sure you say Punta Raisa which is a bit further west from Palermo.

I can't imagine the normal bus fare from Catania airport to Palermo is anything like 75 euros; some company must have mobilized extra buses for that difficult period.
