Trip to Italy, Sept 20-Oct 14

So, we will plan on a trip to Italy. We begin at the Salon di Gusto in Turin 09/20-09/25. Fly in and out of Milan

Days
1-5 Turin
6-8 Travel thru Asti to coast near Genoa - suggestions for a base for 3 nights?
9-12 Florence
13-15 Siena
16-18 Ravenna
19-21 Padua or nearby
22-23 Milan

Thoughts on this? Kind of a circle tour.

Is Ravenna worth the time and effort?

Don't miss Lucca, a walled city between Florence and Pisa! Ravenna is well worth it for its' famous Byzantine Mosaic Murals in several locations.

3 nights is two full days. Yes, you can easily spend two days in Siena.
