Karen, there are at least 15 train runs from Milano Centrale to Monterosso on a typical day. About half of the runs are direct with no train changes and half the runs require 1 or 2 train changes. Expect 3.0-3.5hrs for this journey. From Monterosso to Florence, there are 20 train runs a day. None are direct. 2-3 train changes will be required. Expect 3.0hrs for this journey.
