We will be traveling to Trieste for several days in the beginning of June this year as part of our trip to Italy. Looking for suggestions of hotels or pensiones. Most important to us is the neighborhood, having helpful hosts and proximity to city center. Thx for any suggestions. Bob F.

In 2019 we stayed in Trieste at the Forvm Boutique Hotel https://www.forvmboutiquehotel.it/en/ Very kind staff. Comfortable and stylish rooms and common areas. Very near a pedestrian area and the waterfront.

In 2016, I stayed at a very nice B&B called Residenza le 6A, in the historic center. The owners also operate a tour business and were happy to provide tourist advice, arrange airport transport, etc,
