I'm trying to determine if the renovation of the Trevi fountain will be completed by mid October for our family trip. In looking at a few of the websites - I can't find a completion date. Any insight?

The last date I heard when I was in Roma was October/November 2015, but it's not a firm date. On the other hand, the Colosseum hasn't been so clean in about a hundred years.

Much of the scaffolding on the facade has been removed, even since I was there at the end of May. The temporary walkway is gone now, too. No guarantees that it will be done, or that the fountain will be operating again, but there's a good chance you'll get to see most of the sculptures.
