Trevi Fountain

I was last there May 1, and no sign of restoration yet.

Thanks we have reservations at the Hotel Fontana in October and were just wondering if there was going to be any restoration going on. I realize that that is 4 to 5 months away and they could start by then but it is good to know. Not that it would stop us from going by any means. Can't wait.

The restoration work has not begun yet. I pass by there regularly. However, it seems that it will be starting soon, and will last until sometime in 2015. Here is a news article about it: Trevi Fountain The mayor of Rome posted something about it on his blog back in January, but did not indicate when the work would begin; other articles I have found speak about the end timeframe (sometime in 2015), but not about when it will start. I would think it could be any time now.
