Can anyone comment on ways to see wineries in the region of Trentino by day-trip? I see a couple of things, mostly overnights, and all very very expensive. We were hoping to do a simple afternoon or all-day excursion to visit a winery and try some varieties of the wines there, which we find very interesting.
Other day trip suggestions also appreciated.

This place is close to the Mezzacorona train station about 8 miles north of Trento. It is a large commercial winery, but they have tours, and I imagine tastings.

not entirely the vibe we were expecting, but still could be a nice adventure nonetheless! the metodo classico wines from this region can be amazing...
If you have a car, I would suggest De Tarczal winery and restaurant near Rovereto. The restaurant, IMHO, has the best quality/price ratio I ever met living in Italy.
