I don't know why I see no results starting from June 9 for the following:
Departure: S. Miniato-Fucecchio
Arrival: Firenze S. M. Novella
Time: Any
I've been checking for weeks now and nothing shows for June 9 and onward. Yet, multiple results for June 8 and before.
Do some train stations shows info. much later?
Trenitalia never shows schedules after the June Schedule Revision date until almost the June date. Let's just say it's political and Italian and leave it at that.
Don't worry, the schedule probably will not change, so look at a date before June 9, and plan on that.
I think the Trenitalia is posted in 6 month time periods. I am sure that sometime in the next month or so it will be posted for the rest of the year. Just keep checking.
That is a regional train. Isn’t it mainly the regional trains that don’t get posted til later?
Trains are mass transit. The NY Subway does not publish schedules that far in advance either...
You can assume that schedules will be pretty much the same as they are now, and that you can just walk to the station, buy a ticket, and go.
Nobody worries about a local milkrun months in advance....
Regional trains are operated by Trenitalia but are subsidized by the various Regional Governments (Tuscany, Lombardy, etc.). Trains are therefore scheduled and priced according to the amount of budgeted public financing.
