Trenitalia website problems in Canada

Hello all,
The trenitalia website keeps returning an error message "we are sorry try again later". I've managed to schedule 1 journey from the FCO to Florence but the site won't allow anymore. My travel times are Sept 16 to Oct 9.
Their customer service number does not work.
Other travelers on this site having issues with Trenitalia have tried changing time zones on their device and fiddling with dates. I've done the same with no luck. Trenitalia app is not available in Canada.
Hopefully someone can offer me some help. If nothing works I'll have to use the 3rd party Trainline.

Hi, I’m in BC and just tried a dummy booking on my IPad….no problem.
You can get the Trenìt app on your IPad or phone.
It’s not the website app, but gives you great info on both Trenitalia and Italo services.
You can be directed through Trenìt to buy tickets.
Hope you get it to work.
The Trenitalia app works in Italy and is really useful while you are there for realtime delays, etc.

Perhaps try it again on a different computer?
I always book tickets with my desktop pc.

Different browser, clear cookies, clear cache, use VPN are also options to try.

Just try again in a couple of weeks. September is still a long time away.

You’re too far ahead to be trying to book a trip in September. Usually it’s because the schedules haven’t been released yet, therefore tickets can’t be booked or sold for those dates. Wait until mid July and you’ll be fine. It’s got nothing to do with restarting one’s device or clearing cookies, etc or using the app instead of the browser.

Ok I'll take your advice and wait until mid July. I was getting irritated because I was able to schedule one journey from Rome airport to Florence for Sept 16 without a problem.
