Hello fellow travelers! I am using the Trenitalia app to secure tickets from Varenna to Monterosso. The departure I want is 10am with only one change, in Milan. Perfect. But when I move forward to purchase, I get an alert message that says something like, "The ticket you are attempting to buy is for the following day." What? And the date on the ticket still reads October 6, which is the day I need, but what does that message mean? Thank you, oh wise ones!

It means you are buying a ticket for a train running on October 7.
Use the Trenitalia.com site logging in with the same username and password. It's less sensitive than the app to time zone differences.

Yes, it seems that way, but the date I put in is October 6 and it says that on the top, hence the confusion.

So...... went back on and did not get that message again, so it appears all is well. Weird.......
