Hi Everyone!
I am heading to Italy for the new year, and I tried searching for the train timetables for trenitalia and I am only getting one departure from Rome to Florence on New Year's Day.
Does this sound right? Or, should I wait another month and more options will be made available?
Any thoughts would be gratefully appreciated!!

The reason you only see one departure time is that new train timetables will go into effect throughout much of Europe on 13 December. Trenitalia is nearly always the last national rail company to load the new timetables on its Web site.
You will have plenty of departure times to choose from on New Year's Day. The schedule should be similar to what you'll find for any Sunday between today and 12 December.

Tim is absolutely right.I,ll be in Italy myself around that time,and was looking for train travel and couldn't find any trains on that period.As soon as i put anearly date of travel,boom,10 choices right away.And i don't believe the timetable will change too much.Welcome to italian bourocracy and the way of doing things.My brother lives there and he has some horror stories,but that's another topic for another day.Buon viaggio,and watch out don't step on my bags when you get off one of those trains.LOL.You never know ,right?
