I purchased my train ticket online and went for the ticketless purchase. I did get a receipt but at the bottom of the receipt it says this isn't a ticket..and to notify the ticket code (PNR) to the train personnel.
I know I did the self serve optino last year and had to go to these computer stations and input my PNR code and it printed off my ticket..is this waht I need to do again? Has anyone had any experience with this ticketless option?

The PNR number should be right on the receipt you printed. All I did was hand my printout to the conductor when he came around and he scanned it with his little handheld machine, and that was it. So convenient!

Canadians are able to use credit cards on the Trentalia website. Unfortunately, we Americans cannot. The conductors on the high-speeds have PDAs. They will input your PNR number into this device.
Do the conductors verify form of payment or they just need the PNR code?
Hoping my cousin can purchase the tickets for us - she lives in Canada.
