Trenitalia ticket 2nd Class -Not Valid for Travel ?

if it's a flexible ticket you need to "check in". There should be a check in link to click.

It’s probably a Regionale ticket. Here’s the instructions for the Trenitalia app. I’ve had these previously - not an issue when following the instructions below.

Go to ‘My Journeys’ => ‘RETRIEVE ANOTHER TICKET’ => ‘Search with PNR /Title Code and Email’ => enter the PNR (Ticket Code) along with your email address with which you used during booking this ticket. The ticket code can be found at the top left of the booking confirmation

The only tickets you stamp at the station are paper tickets purchased at the kiosk machines or at manned counters in the station. I always use the Trenitalia app to purchase tickets since it’s very easy & removes any waiting, etc. at stations.
