Hello, My family and I are traveling from Rome to Chiusi on June 9 on Intercity 586. However I just saw that there is a planned Trenitalia Strike that day. I looked at the guaranteed trains in case of strike and our train is not listed. Also, the Trenitalia site pages of what to do in case of strike are returning a 404 error. Does anyone have any recommendations of what we should do? Thank you in advance!

Who knows??? The is always the possibility that the strike will not occur. Second there will be trains running that day. It may be smart not purchase a ticket in advance for that day so you can go to the train station and get what you need. If you have purchased tickets, then take them to a ticket window a couple days before and see which options are offered. By that time you should know for certain if the strike is on.
Thank you Frank! I actually found a site that listed the trains that are guaranteed and this link: http://www.trenitalia.com/cms-file/allegati/trenitalia/servizi_per/tabellaA_treni_garantiti.pdf says that my train (IC 586) will run. Just keeping my fingers crossed that is correct but will probably go to the train station a few days earlier as you suggested just to make sure. Thank you for your help!
