I have to cancel my upcoming trip to Italy I checked the website for the Trenitalia website and their form is only in Italian Any suggestions?
What kind of fare did you purchase?
Google translate can be a help...
If you use the Chrome browser, right click on the webpage and select "Translate to English" from the drop-down.
The form is also in English:
http://reclami-e-suggerimenti.trenitalia.com/rimborsi/en/Anagrafica.aspx
I accessed it from this page:
http://www.trenitalia.com/tcom-en/Purchase/Manage-your-ticket
You can't use the form for reimbursement of tickets for regionale trains, however.
But whether you're entitled to a refund depends upon what sort of ticket you purchased:
For base-priced tickets:
http://www.trenitalia.com/tcom-en/Offers/The-Base-Ticket
Economy:
http://www.trenitalia.com/tcom-en/Offers/The-economy-ticket
Super Economy:
http://www.trenitalia.com/tcom-en/Offers/Super-economy
If the tickets are for the trip mentioned in your other topic, Milan to Varenna, and Varenna to Tirano, you probably do not qualify for a refund.
The Trenitalia site indicates tickets of less than 10 euro are non-refundable
Thanx With your help I WAS able to submit request for
a refund
