Trenitalia announces that its "MINI" advance purchase promotional fares can be had for as little as 9 Euros on just about ANY of its fast trains in national service: Frecciarossa, Frecciargento, Frecciabianca, Intercity, Intercity Night and Espresso! Where BEFORE , the 9 Euro fare was offered only on the route between Milan and Venice (on the Frecciabianca trains), it's now been extended SYSTEM WIDE!!! Excluded, as always, are the unreserved regionale trains. WHAT A SWEET DEAL!!! ROME TO VENICE FOR 9 EUROS
Use the www.lefrecce.it which I found much easier to use than the standard trenitalia site.

I tried to book for tickets in July, but I guess it"s too early. Do you have any idea if the MINI 9 Euro deal will be continued this summer, or if this is just an off season promotion?

I'm shopping now for fares for early July between Venice, La Spezia, and Rome and I can't find any MINIs. I'm even searching June and can't find any.
