I'm trying to get rates on the trenitalia website but have been unsuccessful. I even signed in thinking I'd be able to access rates but to no avail. Am I doing something wrong? The routes I need are Venice to Orvieto, and Orvieto to Rome. Thanks!

Trenitalia hasn't finished loading in its new schedule for 16 June onwards....a note on their website says about 2/3 have been done now. So try 15 June or earlier on the same day of the week you plan to travel, and you should be OK. Also remember that, even when all the schedules are up, you can only check prices and buy tickets up to 60 days in advance.

That explains it. The tickets are for October. Although it would certainly be helpful it they can at least put up the price. Thank you. Norm!

Actually, the pricing is on the website. Just select a date before 6/15 for your journey. Once the timetable comes up, click on the shopping cart on the right side. When that comes up, open the window on the top and select "Standard". You'll see the pricing. Those of us who post frequently on the site do this all the time.
