Elaine, here's how you purchase tickets on www.trenitalia.com as a non-registered user. This process should get you to the payment page.

1) First, contact your credit card people to let them know that you are going to make an online
international purchase. This will avoid a few problems.

2) Under Passengers, type in your name and surname. That's it. Nothing else. Leave the other boxes blank.

3) Under Contract-Buyer, select Non-Registered User and fill in all five fields.

4) Select your payment method.
5) Accept the General Transportation Condition.

6) Select Continue and make your purchase.

Elaine, yes there is an area where you can select Non-Registered User. It's under Contact-Buyer-Required. As soon as you click on the Non-Registered User, the fields for user name and password become inoperable. You can't even click on the two fields. Once you've done this, select your payment method and check the box for Accept General Transportation Condition and press continue.
