Hi all! I have stumbled upon a rental car deal that seems too good to be true and I hoped someone could tell me whether I'm missing something important.
Trenitalia's website shows an offer that when you purchase a train ticket, you get a discount on a rental from Maggiore (I know some folks are dubious of them, but bear in mind our current rental reservation is from Dollar and frankly, Maggiore sounds like it may be better).
So I went to Maggiore's site through this promo link and found a rate for an Automatic (sadly necessary) that is almost $190 cheaper than I was able to find anywhere else. It includes the one way drop off fee, collision waiver, admin fees, and is a better vehicle than we currently have reserved.
We are planning on taking the train from Florence to Milan at the end of our trip, so it sounds like if we purchase that ticket, we would qualify for the offer.
So the question is -- what am I missing???? And has anyone done this before? The rate is the "Noleggio Facile." I can't seem to find any information that contradicts my current understanding.
Here is the promo site: https://trenitalia.maggiore.it/en/
Thank you all for your advice!!!!
