When booking train tickets (Trenitalia), how can I see if the station from which I need to board the train is its starting point?
Because it will say, originating station and it will be on your webpage.
If you look at it on bahn.de, you can see each train's entire route with all stops and originating station and final destination.
If this matters you you can check the train number with a sight that lists all the various trains. Picking a train I know isn't originating Orvieto to Chiusi Regionale Veloce 4096 and then searching 'RV 4096'.

This shows the train is a Rome to Florence train (of course) that connects Orvieto and Chiusi along the way. If you check details in the Trenitalia sight it isn't obvious to me that it originates somewhere else. I don't think this really matters except maybe the amount of time you can expect it to be in the station in the middle versus the start and end points. Also remember the train board will list the big destinations - so it will probably show up as the Rome train with Chiusi in the details as a stop.
There is probably an easier way but this works.
Hope that helps,

Can't you enter the train number in Train Status on the app?
I just tested it for my example train number and markcw is correct you can check the status of that train in the Trenitalia app and it shows the entire schedule.
Good tip!

Thanks, everyone!
Tod, this site https://www.e656.net/orario/treno/9490.html helped, I could see the entire schedule, with departure and arrival time for every stop, really helpful!
Unfortunately, I don't have Trenitalia app (looks like it's not available in Canada), and on their website I couldn't find that info.
if on the website just click the train number
Right, As Nigel said, just find your train on the Trenitalia website and click on "Details". The full list of stops and their arrival times will appear. I looked at the 6:10 Frecciarossa 9490 Salerno>Venezia SL for a random date a minute ago and all that info was there. No need for the app.
