Hello! I've been learning a lot about navigating the Trenitalia site. I created an account under my name and then added traveling companions. I typed in our last name and when I hit save, it changes it to "Football"! My account name is first name.last name and it shows as such on the home page, but under it says Sophia Football. I tried to edit, but it just won't take. HELP! :)

No one ever cross-checked names on the tickets to passports in October 2023. They only scan tickets and make sure you are in the right seat, on the right train.

Thank you! I think it's so funny it's doing this! Our name translates to Ball or Football in Italian. One child is Ball, Hubs and me are Football and the youngest turned in the mix of both the Italian and English.

That's funny! But now that you've explained the linguistic situation, I'm sure any ticket-checker who cares has seen the issue before. Anyone who sees your passport will understand what happened.
