Hi all, Just thought I would put it out there that I booked 4 mini fares on Trenitalia this morning, saving a total of 120 euros! Most were about 50% off.
I was surprised to be able to book so early, so I thought I would pass my success along :)

Wow, thanks! I've been waiting for it to open up for our September trip. They seemed to have opened up the Fall booking a little early this year?

No problem :) I had no idea they were booking this far out until I saw a post on Trip Advisor... good luck finding fares! I was pretty happy about mine!

Yeah, fares are up (5-23%) but there are far more discounted tickets now for medium and long distance trains.

Jeff- Florence to Pisa is a regional train- they only show up a couple of weeks before your trip. It's also not necessary to book these ahead of time.
