That is what I thought too until I was able to purchase train tickets for Riomaggiore to Naples which is three days after Milan to Riomaggiore.

Had the same problem this morning. Kept getting the error when picking seats saying no seats available. Tried a different browser and same issue. Hopped on the app and was able to book there with no issues. The website seems pretty buggy at times.

Not all trains open for booking at the same time. With some long distance services Trenitalia will wait with opening bookings until they are certain the train will operate. So sometimes you cannot buy tickets and reserve seats for some trains till just weeks before departure, and on other routes you can do so already months in advance,.

For train trips in September in Italy I would not bother buying tickets now already. A lot of trains are regional trains with fixed prices where it doesn't even make sense to book in advance. For Intercities booking 3-4 weeks in advance is sufficient to get the Supereconomy fare.

I confirm. Tried to book for 10th of August yesterday, not released yet.

is the website buggy to anyone else. For example If I select Aug. 13th it enters the 12th also If i'm not logged into the account I can scroll well into the summer and fall for 2025, when I'm logged in I can scroll beyond May. It's a very buggy website, at least in my experience. Anyone else?

I find their app is way more user friendly and less “buggy” than their website, which makes me want to pull my hair out

Tell me about the bugginess. I bought a ticket from Cinque Terra to Pisa, and when I go into the app to see my tickets, it shows the date of Jun 16th, but if I open the actual ticket, with bar code, it shows Jun 17th. I want the 17th.
