What is the best transportation from either Assisi or Rome to Treia (day trip)? We will be traveling by train or bus! Thanks!

Hello: It is very late for me to reply to your question. However, we were in Treia in 2006. Beautiful hilltown in LeMarche. We drove there. Don't know any way to get to this remote area especially from Rome. We went from Ancona by car. Ate at a wonderful restaurant called Antiche Mura on via Don Minzoni(the main street). Great people there, spoke a little English and were most welcoming. Hope you enjoyed the little villagio. Bill S

Thanks Bill S! We so look forward to getting to Italy again and seeing the region around Treia. I'm a little concerned about driving in Italy but that may be the only way we can get to Treia. Thanks again! Jan
