Any positive/ negative feedback from a TRAVELSIM user with an unlocked cellphone? I do not need data (the phone is a basic Nokia...not a smartphone). To be used in Italy & Croatia & United Arab Emirates. I will make national calls to confirm reservations/ enquire about tours etc.
International use will be rare to highly unlikely, if any, it will be the rare SMS or a quick call "has the house burned down?". I would like the option for my housesitter to have a contact for me in case of emergencies. The Travelsim would be purchased in Australia. Am also considering buying local sim cards whilst in those 3 countries. Looking forward to any experiences with Travelsim.
