I am thinking of buying round trip tickets from Salerno to Amalfi (and back), and on the Travelmar website I read the following:
"Passengers that bought the tickets online or in possession of a round trip ticket must show up at the ticket office 15 minutes before the departure time. The passengers in possession of a round trip ticket must, in order to find seats available on board, reserve the tickets at least two hours before the chosen departure time."
I understand that to get paper tickets, I need to show up at the ticket office 15 min before the departure.
But I don't understand what they mean by "must reserve the tickets at least two hours before" the departure, "in order to find seats available on board"?
I am buying and paying for the tickets, with the date and time specified, and is it still not guaranteed I will have seats on board?? I am totally confused by this.. What does this mean? Anyone had a recent experience purchasing round-trip tickets on Travelmar and using them?

I read it as you must buy and reserve at least 2 hours before departures. That they stop selling advance tickets 2 hours before departure time.
Trying not to read anything more into that then what it says.
