Hi there,
Looking to see the Dolomites, but wondering what the easiest/most direct travel is to get there. We'll have a Eurail pass for Germany, Italy, Slovenia and Austria. Thank you in advance!
Take the main trainline South from Germany through Austria (Innsbruck) to Bolzano in Italy. This is the "gateway to the Dolomites". You take a local SAD bus from there into Val Gardena (Ortesei and other villages), or Alpe di Siusi. There are other possibilities from stations other than Bolzano, but this is the simplest for first-time visitors, and gets you into a great area to spend a few days or a week.
Your query is rather unclear . From where are you traveling ? Are you in Belluno , or wanting to go there ? Belluno is in the Dolomites , in the Eastern area of the chain .
