Hi, I am planning on a 2-3 week trip in Italy and Switzerland. I am thinking of the Lake District in Italy for a week and then driving up to Switzerland. We would be bringing our 2 year old and so I am seeking advice on locations to stay (planning on renting houses) and activities. Welcome your thoughts!!

Our daughter made her first European trip at age 11, and she got so much out of that trip.
We left her with my parents until then on our few European trips.
