Traveling to Florence for 2 days - Suggestions please

Everything I have read about Florence really only focuses on museums, duomos etc. I am only going to be there for 2 days with my husband. 1 of the days we want to do a wine tour. Any suggestions on tours? I saw the bike tour looks very popular but I think we are more intersted in the drinking aspect as well as seeing castles and maybe getting lunch :) Trip advisor had good reviews on http://www.italyandwine.net and http://www.greve-in-chianti.com/angela.htm.

And then day 2 we want to see some museums but I am more interested in shopping. I know I cant go to Florence without seeing some Art/Churches so I am just wondering what is an absolute Must-see museum, architecture, etc. Or anything that you can suggest that is just too good to pass up. (even for someone who isnt a total museum lover). Thanks all! :)

Santa Croce is incredible. You can get a bit of museum mixed in with history mixed in with a gorgeous church.

Don't miss the Ponte Vecchio for some nice shopping! You'll see jewelry - lots of it. Everything from flash and cheap to sophisticated and lot's of $$$. It is fun to look in all the windows while enjoying a gelato cone.

We didn't go into museums until our 2nd trip!

As an avid shopper, you may enjoy the Ferragamo shoe museum. Entrance is at the rear of their main store, which is located at the Arno river end of Via Tornabuoni. If you're seeing only one art museum, then either the Uffizi or Accademia would be the way to go.

I posted earlier about the wine tour I am signed up for (but don't have any first hand knowledge about yet). It is www.verrazzano.com. Lunch & winery tour. check it out.
