I am planning a trip from Dublin, Ire to the Cinque Terre in July 2017. Looking for all and any recommendations on lodging, itinerary and restaurants.

The Hotel Villa Steno was a great hotel. They will even do your laundry for a small charge. We stayed in room 6 and it was probably the nicest room I have stayed in during my 6 trips to Europe. We had a very large private patio with a table and lounge chairs under an olive tree with a fantastic view.

Accommodation will depend on your budget and taste. I love old town in Monterosso. All the hotels that people on this forum recommended before we went were way out of my budget but I absolutely loved the little one bedroom place -Il Portico- right in old town, yes that church bell was very loud but it doesn't ring overnight. I definitely suggest the boat at least one way so you can see the villages from the water. As for restaurants- my favourite meal in all of Italy was the seafood pasta at L'Osteria in Monterosso. There was also a pizza place that was amazing but cannot find the name anywhere.
