We are going from Rome to Calabria. We want to stay in Rome for 2-3 days, then down to Pompeii and Capri for another 2 days, then take the train to calabria. If we take the train to Pompeii, how do we get around? How to get to capri? Thanks

Not sure I follow your question. If you take the train to Pompeii (and you take the Circumvesuviana from Naples to Pompeii Scavii) you just walk around Pompeii. Get back on the train, continue to Sorrento and you can take a ferry from there to Capri.
