I will be on a yoga retreat near Colfosco. I am wondering if there is taxi availability in that area. It is near Corvara.
Others will be hiking, (I'm not able) but I would like to sightsee natural places nearby. Also wondering if there are shuttle buses around the area. Or private tour possibilities. Thank you!
the area has an excellent public transport (bus) service especially during high summer. And it's very likely your accomodation will give you a free pass for it - https://www.suedtirol.info/en/en/information/suedtirol-guest-pass and if they don't you can pay for odd rides or buy a MobilPass if you plan to do a lot.
Main route is 460 which runs every 30 minutes (hourly at weekends) through Corvara and north all the way to Bruneck.
But the summer toruist season opens up routes acros some of the high passes.
the 473 will take you right over the Gardena Pass and runs hourly so you can have some time at the top. That route ends at Plan da Gralba and from there you can transfer to the 472 which runs over both the Pordoi and Campologno passes to Corvara, also hourly. And from there you have the 460 back to base. Some of the finest scenery I have ever seen!
The 472 and 473 are both showing no service on 5th July and 12th September, presumably the road is closed for an event
