We would like to travel overnight from Venice to Cinque Terre as well as Cinque Terre to Rome but when I search the train schedule I can't seem to locate any overnight trips. Is there another place to locate overnight train schedules? I have been searching on trenitalia.com and raileurope.com.

This is going to be a bad, bad idea. The distances within Italy simply aren't long enough for a train ride to replace a night in a hotel. Furthermore there are not going to be direct trains, so you'll be changing trains somewhere in the middle of the night.
