My spouse is enthusiastic about Switzerland. We will travel in October and start here? Have tentatively planned trip to Venice (my favorite city 2011) and Lake Como both for second time. Have seen other major areas in No Italy.
Now Im deliberating thinking of Luca or perhaps Southern Italy, as we haven't seen either. Iknow covering a great distance. No Car. We will have 16 days including travel from Seattle.

Looking for recommendations for visit to Southern Italy. Will start in Switzerland. Is this covering too much area for 16 day trip. Love Northern Italy, could do that again as well.

Stephanie, If you are asking about other places to see in Italy....I would suggest the Tuscany region. I am unclear also about any specific question. How long will you be in Switzerland?
