Hello,
We will be traveling from Siena to Portovenere on 14 October without a car, and considering a few options. Though there is not a train strike scheduled currently, we are considering take or semi private/private transportation. How can I find one way transportation that would include some sort of tour or commentary on places of interest along the way? Any thoughts/opinions are appreciated.

I would suggest looking to book from Florence rather than Siena for most offerings and options and probably a reduced price. Siena to Florence is easy enough to navigate and it should widen your potential options. Trips from Florence to Cinque Terre are pretty common and Porto Venere is close to enough to CT that this would probably be considered equivalent.
