We have the day of May 19 to travel from Paris to Rome. I was thinking maybe going from Paris to Florence and then Florence to Rome. Any suggestions? Train or Fly? Any little advice will help! THANKS

It would probably depend on how much time you have. On Bahn.com it says it is anywhere from a 9-18 hour train trip between Paris and Florence. Flight wise your looking at about 1 1/2 hours plus time to travel to and from airports and waiting time in the airport, but still less time than train hours. From Florence to Rome do train. It takes an hour and a half.
A side not if you have time to do the train you also get to see the country as you go.
