Is there bus service from Naples to Sorrento ? If so, what is the name of the bus company and where can I find a bus schedule with prices ?

While buses are useful for Sorrento-Amalfi, we also recommend the Circumvesuviana train for the Naples-Sorrento route. See also pages 999-1000 & 1036 in Rick's Italy book.

Betty, to answer your question, there is bus service from the Naples Airport to Sorrento. It does not go to the train station and is a bit inconvenient to travel to the airport to get to the bus. 8 buses a day beginning at 9:00am. http://www.curreriviaggi.it/inglese/E_index.html If you are at the Napoli Centrale train station, the Circumvesuviana train is the easiest way to get to Sorrento. No buses from the train station.
