Traveling from FCO to Naples

Has anyone taken the Fiumicino Express bus from FCO to
central Naples? It looks appealing versus having to go to
Termini and catch the train to Naples. Plus it is much less
expensive.

I too would not hesitate to take the bus if it fit my time line. When we arrived in FCO, neither bus or plane worked. That being said, there is some lovely country side on the train ride to Naples. The bus route is more island.

We (4 adults) took the Fiumicino Express bus from FCO to Napoli Centrale just 4 weeks ago. Our plane arrived early and we were able to catch the 8:45 bus for 30 E cash pp. We did not prepay for the bus.
The bus terminal is in the same terminal as customs, passports you just follow the signs to the bus station. Then you can see the emblem on the bus, but verify with the assistant (who takes the money) the bus is going to NC. There are also FE buses going to Firenze. Our bus was an express bus with no stops, and took under 3 hours. We saved so much time not waiting for the Leonardo Express then transferring to another train at Termini. The bus was clean and air conditioned and we had a great trip to the bus station which is adjacent to NC. We then got out walked to the left and followed everyone into the train station. We continued to Sorrento from there with the Circumvesiuvana train. Let me know if you have any questions.
