We are loosely planning an 18 day trip flying in to Bologna and would like to end up in Sorrento with side trips to Ravenna, Naples, Pompei and the Amalfi coast. We love the beach so Ischia sounds great. We don' t like a jam packed agenda and would love to stay in 2 or 3 places (an apartment rental would be great). Any itinerary suggestions? We are seasoned Italian travelers and have rented a car, but the rain is fine too.
