Traveling from Aeroporto Marco Polo Venice to Padua

Can someone suggest how to transit from the Aeroporto Marco Polo in Venice to Padua without using the train from Stazione St. Lucia in Venice?

I took a city bus from the airport to Padua. It was easy. I caught the bus right outside the terminal. Exit the terminal and walk about one block to your right. You purchase your ticket inside the terminal near the information desk. Its cheaper that way instead of paying the driver directly. It took about one hour and I had to wait a little bit since they run every 25 minutes. I liked this option because I didn't want to go into Venice or go to the rail station.
