Can anyone give me the fastest way to travel from outside Siena to Rome? We can drive to the nearest city that has a fast train.

Chiusi would be the primary staion to change to Rome from Siena and it is on the main line, about an hour and 15 min to 2 hours depending on train. Depending on what direction from Siena you are, Florence would be the other option, further than Chiusi from Rome, but only an hour and 38 min to about 3 hours depending on train. Bus may be another option.
