I will be traveling from Venice to Florence with several family members. There are 6 of us (all adults). Does anyone know of a service for this or is train service our best bet.

Train! You could use either the national railroad (Trenitalia.com) or a private company (italotreno.it).

It's a 2h 13 m fast train ride center to center.
I'd rather be on a train where I can move around than sitting in a van for probably a 3+ hour drive.
